Under-Vehicle Scanning System

“NORKA” is a unique portable X-ray detector with a minifocus and microfocus constant-potential X-ray source. The voltage can be adjusted from 2 0 to 160kV. This allows inspecting objects made from (20-70kV is the optimal voltage for checking mail and thin objects, while 100-160kV works best for baggage and thick objects). One of the advantages of this X-ray inspection system is its ability to inspect areas of an object in fine detail using geometric magnification (up to 40 times).

XCAT Bomb Detector

The XCAT is intended for presumptive testing. Sampling cards are dedicated to detecting either individual analytes or groups of related analytes.

XCAT Applications

Among the intended users are: law enforcement, the military, federal agencies (FBI, CIA, DOI, DEA, DOS), border control, forensics experts, commercial security, fire departments, special events screening, home & business (parental, insurance).

The XCAT uses detection cards with specially formulated optical detection inks and software to identify characteristics unique to each individual or group of chemically related analytes.

Each analyte or group of analytes is detected with a dedicated card.

The unit uniquely identifies and analyzes each card (eg. Cocaine or GSR) and returns a red or green light signal to the user simply indicating “detection” or “no detection”.
